Sloan's Career Development Office (CDO) is the primary resource for students looking to explore and prepare for different post-MBA career options. 

The CDO offers programs to sharpen your recruiting skills, such as interview prep, resume review, and general career counseling, including specialized healthcare focused guidance.  

 

MIT Sloan Healthcare and BioInnovations Conference

The MIT Sloan Healthcare and Bioinnovations Conference brings together industry, academic, and policy leaders to discuss the most pressing issues and exciting innovation in the healthcare sector.

 

MIT Sloan Healthcare Innovations Prize

The mission of SHIP is to support early-stage healthcare start-ups by providing feedback from experienced industry professionals, workshops to help launch your business, and a chance to compete for over $20,000 in prize money.

 

MIT Healthcare Certificate

Sloan offers students the opportunity to specialize their curriculum through certificate programs designed to show focus within a specific industry space.

The healthcare certificate combines classwork and action learning to prepare students who want to be innovators and entrepreneurs in a variety of health oriented fields.

 

MIT SLOAN HEALTH SYSTEMS INITIATIVE (HSI) 

The MIT Sloan Health Systems Initiative (HSI) is a collaboration of faculty, researchers, and practitioners interested in advancing healthcare management and delivery in the world. 

HSI's mission is to improve health by discovering transformative and sustainable innovations through research and education with leaders in the field.

Through the year, HSI hosts a number of events aimed at highlighting health oriented work being done around MIT, and also runs the Healthcare Certificate Program, led by Anne Quaadgras.

 

MIT Biotech Group

The MIT Biotech Group is a student group for all graduate students at the institution interested in increasing the pace of biomedical innovation through building strong relationships between academic thought leaders, students, and industry professionals.

During the course of the year the group puts on educational and social events, and often collaborates with the Sloan Healthcare Club.

 

The Martin Trust Center for MIT Entrepreneurship

The Martin Trust Center for MIT Entrepreneurship is one of the premier institutional entrepreneurship incubators in the world. Pulling individuals from all parts of MIT, the Trust Center helps students collaborate on new business ideas and connects them with the resources they need to launch.

One keynote program includes Delta-V, a competitive summer program that helps fund and launch MIT based businesses over the course of a summer term.
