MIT Sloan has a vast array of resources available to students passionate about healthcare, which are in place to support your academic and professional growth during your time at Sloan and beyond.
CAREER DEVELOPMENT OFFICE (CDO)
Sloan's Career Development Office (CDO) is the primary resource for students looking to explore and prepare for different post-MBA career options.
The CDO offers programs to sharpen your recruiting skills, such as interview prep, resume review, and general career counseling, including specialized healthcare focused guidance.
Additionally, on-campus interviews with visiting companies and job opportunity postings are aggregated and organized within the CDO.
Sloan offers students the opportunity to specialize their curriculum through certificate programs designed to show focus within a specific industry space.
The healthcare certificate combines classwork and action learning to prepare students who want to be innovators and entrepreneurs in a variety of health oriented fields.
INITIATIVE foR Health System Innovation (HSI)
The Initiative for Health System Innovation (HSI) is a Sloan based collaboration of faculty, researchers, and practitioners interested in advancing healthcare management and delivery in the world.
Through the year, HSI hosts a number of events aimed at highlighting health oriented work being done around MIT, and also runs the Healthcare Certificate Program, lead by Janet Wilkinson.
